The Reserve is our home away from home
and we spend each summer there. I once
said if I could live there year round it
would add 10 years to my life. To wake
up in the morning and see the beauty the
mountain has to offer still amazes us
each and everyday. The Reserve is a
stress free beautifully kept development
that fits our lives perfectly. We love
to hike, play golf, shop and just wander
and enjoy all the mountain and
surrounding areas has to offer. We are
now in our second condo, moving to an
upper unit. We have had nothing but
wonderful experiences with The Reserve
and the wonderful people who have worked

We bought a 2 bedroom in the Reserve,
pre-construction, as an investment, not
having been to the area except for a
very short vacation in the early 90's.
Our plan was to sell the contract when
it came time to close. Before
construction was completed, we came to
Banner Elk and visited some friends and
fell in love! We decided to close on
the 2 bedroom and see if we liked
"living" in NC. Needless to say, we
did, as we sold the 2 bedroom and bought
a 3 bedroom in the Reserve II and visit
as often as we can, which is way short
of often enough. As Central Florida
residents, we love each of the four
seasons in North Carolina and would be
hard pressed to decide which one we
enjoy the most. The "green" of spring,
the coolness of summer, the beautiful
color of fall and even the snow of
winter provide a welcome respite and we
always hate to leave. We are so
thankful for our "little slice of
heaven" in the North Carolina Mountains!

The Reserve on Sugar Mountain has been
one of the best experiences that we have
encountered. Having stumbled upon it a
year ago, it has become our obsession.
We live for the days that we spend at
our “home away from home” and leave it
grudgingly…only to count the days till
we will return. The beauty, magic and
splendor of our mountain retreat have
been the best therapy for our busy,
hectic days. Looking over the
never-ending mountain ranges bring peace
and tranquility to our lives. Amid all
this glorious beauty, there is an
abundance of spring, summer, fall and
winter activities to help keep you
physically sound. The
Reserve has changed our lives in ways
that we never dreamed possible. There’s
no better place to live then at the top
of this mountain resort.

Wow...after many years in new home real
